A day out in Belfast starts with a morning tour around the city. Hear stories of its Industrious past, the Troubles and the new modern Belfast. Our tour takes us through the many quarters of this old City. We start at City Hall and then travel towards the shipyards where Titanic was built. See the famous cranes in the Harland and Wolff yards, the new Titanic Hotel once the main drawing offices where Titanic was designed. Travel then to Stormont buildings seat of the NI Executive before heading to West Belfast to take in the political murals and Peace Wall along the Shankill and Falls Roads.
On our way back to the city centre we travel through the University Quarter, past Queens University and the Ulster Museum, before heading back to City hall for a lunch stop (own cost). After we take a short city trip to the banks of the river Lagan to take a Titanic boat tour and hear about Titanic and stories of Belfast Lough. The Tour embraces the RMS Titanic story both old and new within Belfast Harbour. See the new Titanic Centre from the River Lagan, the old graving yards and slip way and then head to Musgrave Channel where you may view Belfast’s large breeding seal colony.
