Description: We travel south through the beautiful countryside to the garden of Ireland that is County Wicklow. Our first stop is Powerscourt House and gardens where a short visit is made. Later we travel to the picturesque village of Avoca where we visit and see a weaver at work at Avoca Woolen mills. Afterwards we travel through the Vales of Avoca and Clara with a stop at Tomas Moores “Meeting of the Waters”. We then travel onto Glendalough where time is allocated to visit the famous site of St Kevin in its wonderful surroundings before arriving home early evening.
