Payroll & Accounts Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our Accounts Team on a part-time basis. is an expanding company employing over 80 personnel between our depot and driving team.

We are recognised as being leaders in the coach transport industry in Ireland carrying 4,500 passengers a day on 145 services. Our mission is to provide safe, economical, efficient, modern transport solutions via our commuter service, our private hire service and our tour service. The key responsibilities of this role are in accounts receivable and payroll, supporting the accounts function. This is a responsible role which would suit someone looking for flexibility in their working week.

Skills Required:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Accounts & Payroll environment

Sound verbal and written communication skills in addition to analytical and IT skills.

Excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability to work effectively to ensure critical deadlines are met

A thorough and methodical approach to your work with a great attention to detail.

Experience using ROS

Experience with Sage 50 software preferable

Intermediate Excel skills essential

Preferably Accounts Technician Qualification, IPASS or equivalent

Job Description:

Reporting to the FinancialController

Responsible for processing weekly payroll for 80+ employees

Dealing with employee payroll queries via phone/email

Responsible for the management of annual leave records & requests

Managing P45's and new starters

Preparation of revenue returns (P30 and P35 reports)

Administering accounts receivable function

Preparing sales invoices on a weekly basis

Credit control duties to ensure timely payment of invoices

AR reconciliations and posting bank entries

Perform credit checking activities

Preparation of daily lodgement

Managing petty cash

Bus Drivers

We are inviting applications from experienced coach drivers, with a passion for customer service.


Duties and Responsibilities include:


  • Driving commuter services and private hire as required.
  • Driving a range of vehicles including minibus, midi coach, coach, interdeck and double deck.
  • To be responsible for the health, safety, security, welfare, environmental and fire arrangements for yourself, passengers and colleagues.
  • Keeping to time schedules while ensuring passengers have a smooth and safe journey.
  • To provide a high standard of customer service at all times, including answering queries and providing information.
  • Collecting fares and printing and checking tickets.
  • Ensuring the upkeep of the company fleet including walk-around check, fuelling, cleaning and washing vehicles.
  • Will includes evenings and weekends.
  • Must hold a full D-Category Driving Licence, CPC qualifications and Digital Tachograph card.
